A few good questions
Is Groupkind free?
Yes. All current tools are free. This initial version has no advertising. If advertising is added, the privacy information will be updated.
How are groups chosen?
We shuffle names using browser-provided random values. Teams differ in size by at most one; this balances headcount, not ability. Repeat reduction tries up to 150 arrangements and keeps the one with the lowest historical pairing count, so that mode is not uniformly random.
What happens with an odd number of people?
Team sizes differ by at most one. In pair mode, choose either one solo participant or one group of three when the count is odd.
Where is my list saved?
Names are stored in this browser’s local storage, not sent to our server. Clear list clears your current roster. Delete saved lists individually under Saved lists. Clearing browser data also removes it. Pairing history and attendance are not saved after reload.
